God has literally sent the World to our doorstep!  What a wonderful opportunity for the Church to obey Christ’s command to “make disciples of all nations” without ever leaving home.

A great way for your Church to reach these precious Internationals with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in both Word and Deed is to start an English as a Second Language (ESL) Ministry.  The hub or heart of this ministry would be ESL classes.On this website, you will learn the basics of setting up an ESL School to provide ESL and TOEFL classes.

Vani Marshall is the ESL Ministries Director for R.I.S.E.N.  This position was created because so many churches were calling and asking for help in start ESL Ministries.  We offer free English Classes once or twice a week to both non-english speaking migrants and international college students. We have reached and baptized over 65 international students through our ESL classes. These students came from several different nations.  We also have International Bible Studies and train others on how to begin an International College Student outreach.

R.I.S.E.N would like to help you and your church by:

Locating training opportunities for your volunteer ESL teachers

Teach you how to start your own ESL School

Work with you to pick appropriate curriculum

Help you analyze and respond to challenges within your ESL Ministry

Provide opportunities for enrichment training
